Elle Varner (born February 12, 1989), LA Native and NYU graduate. She was raised in Los Angeles, California by her mother and father who both happen to be songwriters and publishers. At age six she began to play musical instruments, beginning with the flute, and later piano and guitar. She's signed with MBK/J-RCA Records and Sony Music, her debut single "Only Wanna Give It to You" features J. Cole and was released last year. I love Elle's style because its fun, and she's not afraid of a little colorful.
Her original name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant (born June 21, 1986), better known by her stage name Lana Del Rey. The singer-songwriter described herself as a "self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra". Del Rey's major-label debut album, Born to Die, debuted at number one in seven countries, including the United Kingdom and Australia, and at number two in six countries, including the United States. The album has spawned two worldwide top 10 hits: "Video Games" and "Born to Die". Her style is unique with a mix of vintage 60s edge and modern hipster funk. I love Lana's style and music and i think she is here to stay
Azealia Banks (Born May 31, 1991) American rapper, singer and lyricist from Harlem, New York signed to Interscope Records, and formerly known under the pseudonym Miss Bank$. In 2011 when she topped NME's "Cool List" for the year. Her debut single, "212" featuring Lazy Jay peaked at number seventy-five on the UK Singles Chart. Now, the girl is jetting across the Atlantic, hitting up London Fashion Week, being featured on the NME Awards Tour. Featured in Nylon and other top fashion magazines, Azealia is making a name for herself with her cool hipster punk rock look (even with some hits and misses) you still gotta love her don't give a damn style.
Amethyst Kelly AKA Iggy Azalea (born 7 June 1990) may have been too curvy to be a model back in Australia but fell into a new career as a songwriter and rapper. Iggy Azalea started rapping at 14 in Australia but was obsessed with rap from age 11 when she heard "Baby Don’t Cry".. She is perhaps better known for her promotional songs "Pu$y" and "My World" whose music videos went viral on YouTube. Now signed with Interscope Records in 2012. Her debut studio album "The New Classic" will be released in June 2012. Azalea also draws and paints as an hobby. She also mentions Andre 3000, Kanye West,Gwen Stefani and Grace Kelly as some of her inspirations. Her style is super sexy, she isn't afraid to show off her fabulous curves and her signature ponytail never gets old. Love her!

I hate "trendiness" and "fashionistas." I feel that there comes a certain age where one should stop dressing like a blind teeny bopper -- an age in which you commit to dressing in such a way that doesn't pose such a potential for embarrassment when looking back in six months time.
With that said, they all look like nutters with the exception of Lana Del Ray who is the only one who dresses with some semblance of timeless femininity, class and refinement.
